"Lost Soul"

The study is the last self portrait Jack did of himself with long hair.

The final version is in Jack's house and can be repeatedly seen in the BBC documentary "Jack Vettriano - what do artist do all day".

Within the portrait of jack is a quotation. The final version states "what will a man profit if he gains the whole world but loses his soul".

This was very personal to Jack's state of mind at the time.

The market shows the demand for Jack's work continues to outstrip supply.
